High Temperature Nylon Resin
Aliphatic-aromatic polyamide, high melting point (300°C,
572°F), much higher than nylon 66 or PET. Ideal for
applications involving short-term and high temperatures. Low
thermal expansion minimizes final product stress while high
temp resistance affords an ample safety margin. (Expected
UL 1446 Insulation Systems Classes B, F & H)
Nylon Resin
Available in unreinforced and glass reinforced, including 6, 66
and 612, used in transformers, relays, motors and other
coil-form-based electrical components requiring toughness,
good elongation and good pin retention capability. Glass
reinforcement enhances strength and molding tolerances. (66
listed in UL 1446 Insulation Systems Classes B & F).
